Sector focus

We must demonstrate a solid understanding of how our clients, their markets and their customers think and work – what “makes them tick” – in order for our advice to be credible to your staff, and for them to have confidence in improvements and changes that we propose.

We therefore focus on the industrial sector, primarily on chemicals and materials; and our clients have included:

• specialty, performance and fine chemicals;
• highly differentiated, semi-commodity and commodity chemicals;
• producers with several technologies focusing on one specific sector (e.g. , supplying into the foundry industry, the construction sector, water treatment, the cosmetics/personal care industry); and single-technology producers supplying product into multiple product/markets
• proprietary manufacturers, distributors, service companies, contract manufacturers and custom synthesizers.

In working with these companies and helping them to address their customer-markets most effectively, our knowledge of their customers industries has grown – so, for example, we have a deep understanding of the automotive industry, the metallurgical sector, water services, the pharmaceuticals industry, construction and civil engineering, personal care, etc..
